Not professional advice
Everything on innvoic.com — the invoice generator, the guides, the articles, and the payment-reminder templates — is general information. It is not tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice. Running a business, charging tax, and chasing late payments are situations where the details matter, and general information can’t substitute for a qualified professional who knows your jurisdiction and your books.
You set your own tax rates
The generator lets you enter any tax percentage you like — GST, VAT, sales tax, withholding tax, whatever applies to your work. It does no verification of any kind: it doesn’t check your registration status, validate a GSTIN or VAT number, file returns, or confirm that a rate is correct for your situation. The arithmetic is yours to check, and the rates are yours to set. If you’re unsure what rate applies, ask your accountant or tax authority, not a web form.
No guarantee of compliance
We make no claim that documents produced by this tool satisfy the invoicing rules of any particular jurisdiction — India’s GST e-invoicing requirements, HMRC’s VAT invoice rules, EU invoicing directives, US state sales-tax documentation rules, or any other regime. Invoicing requirements differ by country, state, industry, and transaction type, and they change over time. Before relying on a generated invoice for tax purposes, confirm it meets the current rules where you do business.
As-is tool
The generator is provided as-is. We aim for correct math and sensible defaults, but we don’t guarantee the tool is error-free or fit for any specific purpose. Review every document before you send it.
