Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Innvoic is a free, browser-based invoice generator. This policy explains what information is collected when you use innvoic.com, and — just as important — what is not.

The short version

Your invoices, clients, settings, logo, and signature are stored only in your own browser on your own device. They are never sent to us, never stored on our servers, and never shared with anyone. We couldn’t show you your invoices if we wanted to. If you choose to share an invoice yourself, two features work differently — the Share link and the Email buttons. They are covered in Sharing an invoice below. We don’t collect names, email addresses, or payment details, because there is no account system and nothing to sign up for.

What we do collect

We collect a small amount of technical and usage information to run and improve the site:

  • Analytics. The site uses Google Site Kit with Google Analytics 4. This tells us aggregate, anonymous-ish things like how many people visited, which pages were popular, and what country traffic came from. It does not tell us what you typed into the invoice generator — that data never leaves your browser.
  • Cookies. Analytics and advertising tools set cookies in your browser (for example, to remember whether you’ve seen a consent notice or to measure ad performance). The invoice tool itself does not use cookies; it uses your browser’s local storage, which is a different mechanism that stays on your device.
  • Contact email. If you email us at badarahmad@innvoic.com, we receive your message and your email address, and we use them only to reply.

Advertising

We plan to run Google AdSense ads on the site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. A consent management platform is provided to visitors in regions where consent is legally required before advertising cookies are set.

Third-party vendors

The site relies on a small number of third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Google — analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Site Kit) and advertising (Google AdSense). See Google’s Privacy Policy and “How Google uses data from sites that use our services.”
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) — serves the QR-code JavaScript library the tool loads. No invoice data is sent to it; the library runs entirely in your browser.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.

Local storage, specifically

The invoice generator saves your work using the Web Storage API in your browser (localStorage). This data — invoices, client records, settings, drafts — lives on your device only. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it. Because we never receive it, we cannot back it up, restore it, or delete it on your behalf.

Sharing an invoice

Share links. If you use the tool’s Share button, your invoice is packed into the link itself — the part after the # symbol. Nothing is uploaded to a server: the person you send the link to opens the same invoice in their own browser. Treat a share link like the invoice itself, because anyone who has the link can see those invoice details. One honest caveat: when any page on this site loads, analytics records the page address — and a share link’s address contains the invoice data. The tool removes that data from the address bar as soon as the invoice loads, but if the caveat matters to you, send a downloaded PDF instead.

Email buttons. The Email and payment-reminder buttons open your own email app with the message pre-filled. The email is written and sent by your app, from your account, through your own email provider. We never see it, store it, or send anything on your behalf.

Your rights under US state privacy laws

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to know what is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (California CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws). Two things worth knowing:

  1. We collect very little: aggregate analytics, cookies for analytics and ads, and emails you send us. We do not sell personal information.
  2. Because invoice data never reaches us, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over on that front — it’s already only in your browser.

To exercise any applicable right, or to ask what we hold about you, email badarahmad@innvoic.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children’s privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The tool requires no account and collects no names, so in practice there is nothing to collect — but if you believe a child has contacted us by email, let us know and we will delete the correspondence.

Data security

We use reasonable measures to protect the small amount of data we do handle (analytics and email correspondence). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but the most sensitive thing on this site — your invoice data — is protected by never leaving your device in the first place.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, when advertising goes live). The “last updated” date at the top marks the current version. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
